If you want beginner flatbed driver training -- all while feeling like you've probably joined up with the Marines -- check out TMC:

Others here may disagree -- but I can't honestly recommend them, unless you are ex-military (Army, or Marines). You'll spend some real time polishing/cleaning your tractor. You'll also get your name put on the tractor doors (even though it's not really yours ).

If you do make it through their CDL "boot camp".....you'll drive some macho-looking equipment, though.

Given the current CDL market -- to start out, you may have to simply take what you can get.

TMC may not start hiring back in/near your area for quite some time.

Also: the flatbed sector is not exactly "on fire" right now, anyway.

I learned early on: don't "fall in love" with any one particular job or carrier.

There are simply too many other opportunities out there (see other suggested carriers posted here).
