No one should ever have to pick up some other guys piss bottle. just aint right.
-
Nope...dump it in a grassy area or in the weeds. It called being considerate or courteous. I know....its not common today but maybe we can start a new trend. -
Alot of truckers where shorts so they can pee in the bottle while going down the road.
Ive heard of some truckers crapping in a five gallon bucket that they keep on board.

you can get something from airplane pilots stores or supplys to take a leak while you are sitting down .just a plastic jug w/ a differant design. it can be a little more of a problem when flying a small plane cross country, they are inexpensive and are also made for women
-
the only time i had a problem finding a place to go pee was when I had a woman with me. that couldn't or wouldn't squat pull over set the truck up by the way you park step around wet the dirt and go. in some places you might get a ticket for it now days but back then i have seen cops do it

The first two things I learned when I hit the road in '96: how to falsify my comic book and how to piss in a jug while rolling down the road... some people carp about it, but the bottom line is that a driver can save an hour a day by doing this, and there isn't always a pickle park handy when you need one. I only do it on straightaways when nobody else is around, in order to minimize the danger of distraction. As far as the bucket goes, I have to draw the line there... that's just plain nasty, kinda like those stories ya hear about certain foreign drivers cuttin' holes in the floor of their cabs.

I guess no one here ever used a Port A Potty from Wal-Mart usually found in the camping section?
Cheaper version is a round drum lined w/ plastic bag, toilet seat top and a cover lid when not in use. Remove + disgard the plastic lined bag after use.
More costly version (approx $69) has upper water reservoir tank, and lower waste tank. After use, disconnect two compartments and carry the lower (leak proof) section to restroom. (it has pour sprout)
When used w/ RV port a potty deodorants + toilet tissues = both methods are supposed to be pretty good. Knew drivers who had one or the other - I bought the latter just in case of an emergency but never used it. I recently asked a driver for (step by step) instructions in how to use it properly then put it back in the box for "just in case" scenario if it ever arises. Could empty the "pee bottle" in the same containment and pour it out either in the rest room anywhere or when taking a shower at tk stop. No odor if used w/ deodorant. -
I do the jug thing but no way I am going to reuse it that just nasty!! Yes I throw it away in trashcan and dumpsters. No way I am going to dump it out on the ground no matter where it is. even grass or weeds if no rain it will stink just like a parking lot. TMO

I think those portable pee things are called "Stadium Pals..or Buddies" ?
~
A large Liquid Tide bottle (Wide mouth opening) works well. It is a bit more discrete than a used washer fluid jug and certainly not see through. You can get several uses out of it and by the time it's time to replace, the wife has a new empty one. You can take one into a rest stop and pour it in the toilet.
I used to rinse it out with bleach when I got home. But I think pee and bleach make ammonia gas?
