Truck Stop Coffee - I can't take it anymore

so that's what my wife meant when she said she donated my old work boots......

 

There was a time when mini markets, fuel stations and truck stops took pride in what they served!
That time is past, now its all about profit and the trash that works in most places don't care, won't take responsibility and has no pride in themselves or anything they do or produce.


Simply stated you could buy the cheapest coffee in any grocery store and find a way to brew it in your truck it would be worlds better than you can find at any current truck stop that I know of!

 

oh man, i tell you, guys with weak stomachs.....

gimme truck stop coffee and 2, maybe 3 roller dogs, and i'm good to go another 500 miles.

my favorite things ever, when i finished my route, up in Maine, on the way back, i'd stop at the truckstop in Greenland, NH, and get roller dogs, and coffee..

the fuel desk knew i'd be there, 5 nights a week.....(just after midnight) always "fresh dogs" cooking on the rollers.

 

No concern for the toilet I see.

I admit that it gets dusty in my truck, but my French press and kettle are clean on the inside, where it counts!

 

I beg to differ!!! Chock FullO Nuts coffee is NOT GOOD!!! Weak or strong, it’s slightly worse than drain oil.

 

I guess I just never encountered that brand and with a name like that get the feeling I should just concede!

I will say however that even in my most frugal moment, I doubt I could get myself to by a can of coffe with a name on the label like that. It is a very powerful indicator to me for some reason.

 

Pilot for years advertised ‘best coffee on the road’, and that’s where it belonged, tossed out the window onto the road. Nowadays, with the point of sale bean grinders, Pilot coffee has greatly improved(still aways to go), not wonderful but better. Around these parts the worst coffee is either Stripes, or Allsup’s.
