Diesel is 5 bucks. Rates the lowest are have ever seen. New truck is 200k and up. No bank will finance you lower than 8%. And you considering starting on your own???

With insurance rates, financing a new truck, motive eld, fuel, trailer rental whiles running around 1750 mi/weekly. Your cost per mile with diesel being @ $1.60 avg. Per litre. It's $2.05 per mile to run a truck. Definitely need direct customer contracts when even the Montreal to Toronto lane avg. $1.80 to $2.00 per mile. This past week I heard that the load to truck ratio from Alberta to Toronto was 14 to 1.
ouch!! Not good when most had to sit for a week at a truck stop.

Load-to-truck ratio has always been bad out of the West. That’s why the rate in looks good.
NorthEastTrucker Thanks this.
