How long would you sit empty?

Take their truck out log off duty and do Ubers.

People would get a kick out of riding in a semi. I'd definitely tip the guy extra if I got to blow the big horn.

If they give you crap ask em if they got a better way of making a living with that truck?

I have waited over a weekend after delivering on a Friday afternoon a few times. Usually in a not so good area to begin with, at least not for being there later in the afternoon on a Friday. I remember sitting quite a few times when I was a company driver. Be glad you're at least getting paid layover. There are a lot of places that wouldn't pay a nickel for it, if its not being paid by a customer or broker.

 

All the Yankee and California invaders have plugged the city and emboldened the number of far-left politicians in the city. I was for keeping them out. Still am.

 

yep, that’s what I did when I was OTR. The way I see it, they gave me that time to look for another job.

Plenty of time to think, plan and research potential employers.

If I’m going to sit, I’m going to sit at home. There’s plenty to do at home.
