Driving jobs

So it's been a very long minute since I've been on here. So hello again everyone. So I've noticed a lot of regional routes in many carriers have put a hold on hiring due to route changes etc. I'm wondering if it has anything to do with yellow going down the toilet.
Anyway, I have a good record, 7 years of a mix of regional and local. BUT it seems #### near impossible to get hired any where right now. Literally even applied to swift and did orientation, did great on the driving test, passed everything and they said I had a holistic profile? Wtf is that? Anyone?

So I said well, not a loss. It's swift... lol so I applied to Barr Nunn, and my application has been approved, i also have an offer from J&R Schugel. Was wondering if anyone had insite to either of these companies?

Yeah that's what I've gathered so far from just the recruiters. There is also a decent pay gap between the 2. I just want to work again. Been off for 2 months from a normal everyday trucking job. I've been doing temp driving.

 

No, nothing at all. No questions. I don't have anything on my background, I'm a pretty solid person. I don't drink or do drugs or anything like that. Pretty clean mvr, had a headlight out on my personal, and got side swiped in the rig like 2 years ago. Nothing else. But I just wanted to know what they meant. No one seems to know. Not even the recruiters.

 

The pay difference is what has me on hold at j&r. It's like a difference of .71 to .55
Makes a difference in pay ya know.

I will say this tho, Barr Nunn only called me 2 times. Once to say they got the app, the other a week later to say they got it approved.

By J&R Schugel contacted me every other day. Which is nice and kinda makes me feel more needed.
