I originally started out regional, way back when they offered it. It was basically running a covered wagon around Ohio. After a few months, I switched to OTR and enjoyed it much better. Again, I was home every weekend.

On the weekends. Usually for a 34. I don’t personally like regional flatbed, it’s a lot like work. Unloading and reloading 3-4 times a week, especially if you have to tarp is a lot of work. That’s why I do long haul, 8-10 loads a month, usually less then that. -
McElroy is in Cuba Alabama. They used to get everybody home on the weekends. Lots of lumber. Lots of tarp. Don’t know anything else about them. Been years since I’ve seen a truck, but I went by the terminal a while back and they are still in business.
