    Actually the Hunts point market has threatened move to NJ a couple times in the last 20 years over squabbles with the city of ny.

    Umm, they don't have enough parking spaces for their own city vehicles. We have a customer in Brooklyn that is right next to a NYC Housing Authority location and their vehicles are usually double and sometimes triple parked on the street, making almost impossible to back in to our customer. I have had to park half a block away and roll our racks down the sidewalk to the customer in order to make the delivery.

    That was the plan back in the early 90's. They were going to build a huge transload facility where Metlife Stadium in Jersey is now. OTR drivers would unload there and smaller box trucks would take the product into NYC boroughs. We see how that didn't happen.
