buzzing sound on cascadia

    anyone familiar with what a failing fuel pump sounds like from inside the cab? I have a truck that starts buzzing when i hit the accelerator, and maintains the buzz. it goes away when the truck is coasting or when its idling, but soon as i hit the gas it starts again. almost sounds like a bee in a box, its driving me insane. no noticable drop in fuel mieage but im thinking its the fuel pump. any ideas?

    may be a lost sound-deading pad in the dash. one of the crap cascadia trucks I had before I got a hold of it had service work done to the A/C and they took the pads out so the thing buzzes and speaks.
