The apps I use daily for trucking are,
Google Maps - Satellite imagery is more important than anything else. You generally tell which way trucks enter and exit a facility. You can usually map out local directions from interstate exit to the facility. If the place is tucked in some residential looking area, you can follow the roads in street view to look for no truck signs, bridges, etc. You can read reviews to find directions, numbers to call for check-in before you even get there, etc.
Co-Pilot - Probably the only one worth spending money on. I used the version that was on my elogs and now I have it on my phone as well with the traffic updates. It's one of the view GPS's I've used that actually have turn restrictions, no thru truck restrictions, etc. Every other GPS just avoids bridge height and weight restrictions. I'd trust this app over others for local directions, but still rely on Google Maps. It's just kind of slow to set up and searching addresses suck. You have to type everything fully manually.
Hammer - It's free. I use it to get a general ETA because the app loads quickly unlike most other GPS apps for trucks. Has to be the worst routing I've seen for local roads, but I don't trust any GPS for local directions anyways.
Trucker Path - Don't use it much anymore but if you don't know your interstate and highway truck stops, it's nice to have. Don't rely on the statuses as they are garbage. Don't bother paying for the premium service either because it's garbage.
Fuel Book - To search route for fuel prices less IFTA, then compare to my fuel discounts.
Private Browsing Tab - Any web browser should have it. Prevents your search history and open websites from being saved and potentially shared with other linked devices like your computer at home that your wife can see.CAXPT, singlescrewshaker, cke and 2 others Thank this. -

Get it at the app store or up at the top of the page push on the 3 bars.
Edited to add, I don't use it. I use a Garmin 10 inch screen that is updated once a month. Got it free with Love's points.Last edited: Oct 21, 2023

Those did not fit, couldn't get them on with my mile high arch. I ordered these as well:
ARIAT Men's Cascade 8" Work Boot Western Amazon.com
These fit and are comfortable. I will catch the cobbler after church and have him put on bumpers on the heel and toe and mink oil them. I should be ready for the winter.
Thanks for your help.CAXPT, Flint1, singlescrewshaker and 4 others Thank this.
