Arizona no experience Class A CDL Holder

In case you haven't noticed this elsewhere -- the current general freight market is in a slump right now. As a result -- many carriers that would otherwise take drivers like you....now instead require 3-6 months experience (or more).

Thus -- be mentally prepared for a certain amount of rejection & the run-around.

Don't get discouraged! It's NOT YOU -- IT'S THE CURRENT MARKET.

With all that said -- you might give Schneider a try -- SUBMIT A COMPLETE APP FIRST (DONT CALL); then follow-up that with a call to recruiting a few days later:

OTR dry van, 48 states -- Schneider -- all CDL holders accepted -- paid training for novices provided

Schneider can also help you get the preferred hazmat endorsement (if you don't already have it).

Look into Food Service in your area. US foods or whatever food services they have in your area.

 

FYI: if you think you might like to try reefer or flatbed duty -- Schneider now has those freight types, as well.

You have a possible opportunity to switch over to another type of freight in 6 months -- after you start out with them in the above listing.

I don’t know anything about them other than they are somewhat close to Tucson. I did look through some of their job postings and they had a dedicated regional job posted for Tucson.

Don’t know if they hire new grads or not but @Chinatown would know.
