If you run 62 back towards Nitro it will take you to I-64 at exit 45, problem there is all the construction….
But if they will let you come that way and have your escorts take you through the construction zone you could jump off exit 40 if I-64 west bound and hit 35 north to Ohio….

Think what you need is the Buffalo bridge, just remembered it…. It’s an open top bridge so no height restriction on it.
62 to the bridge and cross over to 35, and 35 towards Jackson, Ohio….

I have my permit person working on this -
I headed back to iA with the load.
just trying to get a feel for how bad the route is likely to be.
should be up there Wednesday dinner time or so. Any place close to park? Any food recommendations? I will have one of my pilots with me - so I will be mobilejamespmack, 1951 ford, cke and 7 others Thank this. -
2 Truckstop at exit 39…. TA on east side and Gomart on west side, I’d shy away from Gomart.
There’s a Peelot at exit 45, if you park there you can just make a left out of the Truckstop and you’re on 62 rolling towards Elanore.
You be there Wednesday evening?

@Rontonio if you stay at TA there’s much better food choices. Fat Patty’s & Fire side Grill are both good….

I know, but I always feel so bad when I kill one, same thing with drake wood ducks, the only waterfowl that tastes good and I can't shoot them because they are so #### beautiful. I have no problem with everything else just can't do those two.

Hunted White River NWR Saturday. Beautiful area. Passed a few deer and many hogs. Ran the dogs this mornin and ole Hey Belles put up some solid points on Woodcock. Unfortunately season doesn't open till the 1st.
Passed on a couple big hogs this evening, saw a few deer, and called in a small buck. Too hot to get excited for much other than work.
I actually hired out some suspension work this last week. I'll pick it up in the mornin and get back to work till cooler weather.
Here's a few pics from the last few days.
