It was a 565HP Cummins, so there will be some drop off but yes I’m temporarily (maybe permanently) past the looking cool phase, it’s all about the bottom line now. Compared to my 579, it cost $2,700 more to operate my 389 last month, so in these penny pinching times (or even when things were gangbusters) that’s a heck of difference.

1994 36” flat top, 350hp n14, super 10, 3:91 gear and tall 24.5. Unknown wheel base. Best part is it appears to be original 180k mile truck?

I bought it to tow the RV but, think it would make an excellent backup freight hauler. Think I’m going to be in this business 8 more years. My international has over 1.5m miles in it? This has 200k…..

Not sure I would want to run my current lane with the new truck but could get it done… bet it would make a good regional/ local grain or rock hauler though

No doubt in your case I would run one as well. Not everything is the same and you must consider your own operation.

My new truck had a herd bumper on it a couple hours after I got it home. I don't like the looks of it as much and theyre expensive but I hit well over a dozen deer and a couple antelope with my last truck so it was pretty much a must have option. I haven't come real close to any with the new one yet but I'm sure it wont be long. Plus hauling cattle its nice not having to worry about braking hard or trying to swerve, just line em up so you dont wrap em around the corner of the bumper and hit the fender and your good.
