Pretty good. I haven't turned my truck off since I left Clovis and my electrical problem has yet to come back. I ran out of my 70 in Mossy Head, FL today, but I'll get 6 hours tonight and then I can probably get within 100 miles of my delivery tomorrow. I'm not supposed to be there until 1pm Monday so I'm still ahead of schedule. Since it's a drop and hook there I assume I can show up before 1pm.

Showing up early should be fine. You get your bills signed at the consignee address on the load assignment, then go to the drop yard down the road to swap tanks. If it’s the one I’m familiar with, there are two different drop yards. One is easy to find, the other is back behind an old abandoned warehouse near the water and ship docks. I had to drive around looking for it the first time, and I even went back to the consignee address for better directions. Just giving you a heads up. Both lots are within two miles of where they sign your bills. The trailers not being very visible from the road is what makes that particular lot tough to spot. You’ll go to whichever one has some empties.Speed_Drums, Redtwin, Nashville and 1 other person Thank this.

I had to circle the block 2 times to figure out where exactly it was. Mine was the abandoned warehouseSpeed_Drums, Redtwin and Tanker_82 Thank this. -
Looks like I have my load home. I'll be shooting back down to Murfreesboro for early am appt, then deadheading up to New castle, De. I didn't recall a load the last time I went there that went to Texas, but we shall see.
For current drivers is it worth the drive up to the Bensalem terminal? I have never been there and I believe it's the only one I have left that I haven't been to. I know a couple of you guys stay in that region and run that area. By any chance do they have any clothing we can buy at that terminal?Tanker_82 Thanks this. -
No company swag winterhaven has that, But if you like to clean your truck they have the heated pressure washer.
Nashville Thanks this. -
Not really worth the one hour trip up from DE unless you are desperate for a shower or laundry. Shop guys there are pretty laid back so if you need fluids or spare bulbs that might also be worth a trip. Candy bowl in dispatch office occasionally has some stuff worth snagging.
I don't know of any TX loads out of there, but then I don't ever head that far west so I wouldn't see them. Farthest west I go from DE is to a regular customer in Newark OH.Nashville Thanks this. -
They do, but they also use that bay to blow dry tanks so it isn't always available.
If it's a slow tank wash day, the tank wash manager scours the bobtail parking looking to drum up business to keep his guys busy, but I wouldn't bank on that either.Nashville Thanks this. -
Dang it.... I'm never in Winter Haven anymore. Wish they had a way for us to buy stuff online or something.... I rarely ever see a terminal anymore for that fact. Haven't even made it to Mission for my driver appreciation bag and don't see that in sight. -
In the 3 plus years I have been here I've yet to see what Winter Haven has for sale and I am always going through there for home time etc.
Apparently it's inside a locked office and you have to ask who has a key, but you can't get back to where the office staff sit unless someone lets you in. I don't really have the patience for that especially when my car is packed and I'm itching to make tracks for my domicile.
I have 2 nephews, 5 and 3, who are truck crazy and I would love to get them something, but they will have to settle for the way too big for them ball caps we get every year.
Speed_Drums, Tanker_82 and Nashville Thank this.
