I made it. They have room to park here if needed. Nose up to the gate and call security on the wall phone. They ask for your truck number and let you in. Three bay doors are on the back side. The receiver will let you unhook and pull out if you want. I brought buttermilk from Michigan.Speed_Drums, Nashville and Redtwin Thank this.

I'm heading to the Port of Wilmington tank wash today to get a clean tank so I can load in Maywood, NJ. Anything I should know before going there?
-
I don’t think I’ve been to Maywood, NJ. The tank wash In Wilmington is easy to get to, though. If you come in from 495, you go past Christiana Truck Stop to the first stop light which is Pigeon Point Road I believe. Turn right and go a few miles until it tees off. Turn right again and the tank wash is about 3/4 of a mile down on your right hand side.
When you turn right at the light onto Pigeon Point Road, be watching out of your passenger window and you will see the drop yard. It will say OJ’s Tank Wash Drop Lot or something like that. That’s where we drop and hook a lot just for future reference.Speed_Drums, Nashville, Redtwin and 1 other person Thank this. -
And BT on over to Christina truck stop if you can .. they have good little sandwiches and stuff

Well, it's vegetable oil, which might only be something we haul in the pump division since it has to be loaded in a whiskey trailer. Assuming the non pump guys don't use whiskey trailers. Maybe that's why you haven't been there?
-
It may just be a new customer. I’ve been to a few new ones in recent months. I doubt it’s a pump thing. I’ve hauled oil from Great Falls, Montana to Georgia before and from Hereford, TX to Arbuckle, CA. I’ve never had a pump.Cobrawastaken Thanks this.

I think @Redtwin operates in the NE most of the time, so he might know something about it.
Cobrawastaken Thanks this. -
Speaking of pumps, I pumped off my last 2 loads in a row. I don't think the next one is a pump load, but they are having me specifically take a pump trailer (aka whiskey trailer) so I wouldn't be surprised if it is. I thought I wasn't supposed to be using the pump that much, but I'll take the extra $75.

They only loaded me with 22,000lb. I know vegetable oil is light, but surely that's not a full trailer. Weird
