That is the correct size bumper, Usually they are air, but they also have a manual lift as well as electric, if you don’t have an air ride front with an over inflate it comes in handy to no wrinkle a ~$1500+ bumper,

 

Got a few of them running around the oil field here.
Good looking trucks and the guys take pride in their ride it shows.
Not very practicable .

 

Tell me where your gona find a 20" or 22" box end Chrome bumper for 800.

Do those things lift.

Is the retractable shifter oil or grease Libertated ? And how do you tell the difference And is it part of a pertrip Inspection ? ..

I sometimes wish I had one of those when I need to get under with a grease gun, and my lowest bumper is around 16” from the ground.

it's to allow for the steep angles either in a driveway, or other low clearance situations. the driver just has to make sure he/she retracts it as well.
