I had 11 staples in my head years back. Still feel the marks.

I was working in a service pit, built for a guy about a foot shorter than myself. Full fast walk, trans cooler. I know all about the stars. Completely my own fault and even knew better. Hope you heal up well. The ER cause more pain than the crash.

Far as I know DDEC 1 never hit production trucks, or OTR. DDEC1 was on some prototypes, industrial, mostly 2 stroke engines. DDEC2 was series 60. I'm not aware of a ddec1 series 60.

There was 8v92ta with ddec 1/2. Some 500 plus hp. Some ddec3 very late in fire service. They had been working on it before the series 60 was built. The internet story about the series 60 and JD is mostly that. A story. They had talked and the plan was voided. The Series 60 was designed by a Cummins engineer. They had no interest with the success of the N14, and celect control system. Roger Penske swopped in and squashed the JD deal, he picked up Detroit and pushed the project. It was actually pretty shady how it went down.

Welp I’ve got my first test tomorrow and if I fail it it’ll be my own dang fault and not because of the quality of training; personally I think it should be illegal for both truck driving schools and companies to give any less than the standard Mc El*oy sets.

I’m gonna have to throw chains, straps, pre trip, coupling uncoupling, coil rack set up, companies “admin” side of things like a Qualcomm or whatever system you use that receives and sends all your important information and that’s about it lol

You wouldn’t believe the #### I’ve been having to put up with when I tell people who work here that I drove for a year, then ask for what company and tell them, “Uhh Western Express”

Well, it sounds like you’re about to take a step or three above the likes of Western Express. I hope if works out for you.

Appreciate it, can’t say I’m worried about very much as far as training goes, most of it clicked after awhile of being institutionalized in a prison that I visited and didn’t spend the night :biggrin_25523:
