I agree with you 99.9 percent of the time, but I’m afraid this is the part where it’s .1 percent and I’d have to make the argument that it’s not the deers’ fault some a hole cut their forest down and now they’re confined to smaller areas and that some roadways just so happen to run through a forest.

Classic. I’d wager a 3rd of the visitors to Yellowstone believe it is a petting zoo.

 

At the top of the exit ramp, there is a roundabout. A truck reaches the top of the ramp, hits the left turn signal and goes left. A half block down, he come face to face with another semi.

I wonder how common this scenario is nowadays.

 

Trying to catch up. Glad they are OK. Most of the time when air bags deploy, they break the windshield. If all bags deploy, most of the time they total the vehicle do to expense versus repair. Most cars or designed to absorb the impact, which totals them. But I will say this. The GMC terrain is a vehicle I would feel good about wrecking. Seen them in a hard rollover and had next to no roof collapse. They would be "totaled" either way. But that is one safe car for the occupants.

Deer around here will total a semi or pickup.

 

My daughter was in a wreck few years, left hand curve with no guardrail and steep embankment. Oncoming car came around the curve in the wrong lane, tires dropped off the pavement, trying to keep it from going in the river she turned the wheel hard to the left and the car flipped over couple times.

Thankfully the car behind her seen the accident and jumped out to help get her out of the car, car eas upside down and she was trailed by the seatbelt…,

yea this was atlas tube next door to Nucore. 9.75 hours of detention. 12 total hours. But they allow parking inside the gate I guess. Required plastic wrap and a tarp only to have the consignee drop it in the mud and have me untarp it in the rain. Always fun.
