    We've got huge trees down all over the NYC Tri-state area. But most emergency crews are cutting down 80 year old 200+ foot trees into manageable 4' chunks for the chippers.

    Any logging companies want to make an offer to clear & remove some of this timber should try to contact the local municipalites around here. They have no idea what they're sitting on and are turning thousands of dollars of potential lumber into sawdust.

    Hey man thanks for the response....I drove with an o/o in florida for like 6 months back and forth to new york...that was about 3 years ago....then about a year ago i did some straight truck driving in the city....yes i do have a family and i`m really hopping i don`t have to go over the road...so hopefully with a lot of looking around i can hope to get lucky...i have passenger/ doubles and trips/ tanker/ and hazmat im just waiting for the background check that i know i will be ok with...Thanks again...Angel

    But lately craigslist has gone to hell, but it might be worht a shot. (for a few days anyway)

    Hazmat and pasenger endoresments, see if you can get with these paratransit mini-busses with the P endorsment. I haven't seen one w/out a now hiring sticker in the window. Wife kept telling me to go after that job but I didn't feel like driving a short bus after going though the trouble of getting a "big" licence.

    If I had Hazmat though (and I don't really want it) I'd try to get on with one of the Boiler Oil places. (You NYC people know what I'm talking about) Castle Oil or one of their competitors. And last I checked Conway in Elmsford and Queens were still looking.
