You can’t do that if you have no way to measure gallons/SCF if you have nothing to base it off of. Not every pump is set at a specific gpm and inches isn’t very accurate. That’s why weight was always the default for us in multi stop deliveries if meter failed.

We use inches delivered to the customer. Gallon capacity of the tank divided by full trycock for the gallons per inch. Then just figure how many gallons delivered and convert to SCF. It's not perfect, but I guess it's good enough for our bosses.
I just did a delivery. There was 5% difference between my meter and what I calculated.Cali kid and viper822004 Thank this. -
My first trainer did say if shut off the meter before stopping the pony motor. Can screw things up. I question if it's what happened here. Is dumb that even the lights in the back to be able to see all the valves. Needs the pony motor running.....Cali kid Thanks this.

Well even with headlights on. No countdown. So I just waited 15mins then started
viper822004 and Cali kid Thank this. -
I’ve never seen a pony motor setup that requires headlights on. Usually they are fully self contained.

That's who previous had the trailer said they had to do.
Motor did straight up due on my at 173in out of 250in. But they started at 105in. So got some in. Either it overheated which was possible. Because customer had some hot things in a tank nearby. Where just walking past you feel the heat. I did also hear a belt squealing. So could be anything. Because pressure and everything else was fineCali kid Thanks this. -
Yeah sometimes with the pony motors you have no choice but to run them at a lower RPM/ Less gallons per minute or they will overheat.
-
I feel like this one only runs at one speed. Because when I pulled the throttle pressure did go up. But turning it did nothing. Only way pressure went up was closing recirculation valve and opening discharge valve. Rpm gauge doesn't workCali kid Thanks this.

Check and make sure the cable hold downs are tight and the whole cable isn't sliding.
Back in the day at Air products ,that was always a problem with the VW gas motors.
Well, that and not wanting to start in Grand Forks at 30 below. LolCali kid Thanks this. -
Looking at my logs. It ran over or around a hour. Might of just overheated but who knows. They got half full and I got 7 hours on my 70. So probably will just take a 34 then head somewhere to get it fixed
