Pete DeFazio's education is in Gerontology, what makes him any kind of

    expert on anything?

A NAFTA arbitration panel ruled in Mexico's favor ten years ago.

care to explain how all the companys that moved there business out of the country was good for the towns states and people that now no longer have jobs nor have the tax base they once have. yes NAfCA was great for business. they have a larger profit margin. All we get is left with abandon buildings and loss of jobs.

Why is it the fault of the company? Who starts a business to pay taxes

    and support local governments?

This Country is full of towns that relied on one company, without planning

for the inevitable day when that company would no longer be around.

That has been happening a lot longer than NAFTA has been around.

Rust belt towns have been bleeding jobs for decades.

Hey Mooney if you think N.A.F.T.A was good for anyone except Mexico you are a complete MORON. As much as I despise the Unions I for one will stand arm and arm with them to stop this once again.

Bear in mind that Mooney absolutely loves G.W. Bush, who in turn loved the idea of outsourcing jobs "for the good of the American economy".

Maybe so, but a "complete moron" with facts to back up what I say.

Which U.S. President signed NAFTA into law?

Bill Clinton signed NAFTA into law. I know this for a fact. When he signed this into law my mom lost her job less than a month after he did. G.W Bush pushed it to I know and W. Bush signed C.A.F.T.A into law. That being said, here is a fact Mooney do you think america would be better off now if we still had all those outsourced jobs back? I am beinging to like Ron Paul's stand on this subject. Lets bring all our troops home protect our borders (governments rightful place anyway) and take care of America and quit worrying with other countries. We dont need to be getting mixed up in other countries messes when we are headed down the wrong path ourseleves.

Maybe you're right. All that money could be better spent here on some of

    our citizenry.

    Perhaps on English classes.

I do like this one though, "here is a fact Mooney, do you think "america".

Is that a fact, or a question?

    Seriously.

If I understand it right, Mexico had to come up with a database, searchable by our DOT, to verify a mexican drivers identity and safety history. After close to 10 years they have yet to even start on said database. If this information is true, then mexico has not kept their end of the deal and it should be scrapped.

Do you need this information for insurance?

All participants from Mexico have to have insurance through a U.S.-based

    insurance carrier.

    What else you got?
