Since you're based here in Maine, do you happen to know any drivers looking for local work based in Portland?
Quantix is now hiring two Company Drivers and Owner Operators for our dry bulk division out of our Portland, Maine terminal.
As a current driver for this company/location, I'd be happy to provide more details if interested.

Pulling hazmat tanker @74 cpm truck does 75 mph I've had plenty of 650+ mile days. Dedicated runs out of Chicagoland area.
Rarely loaded to the max and always back to customer empty. Run down to the Southeast often. I've had loads of 1000 gallon to N.Carolina and straight empty, That a every 3 mo. load and dozens more just like that one. Its like running empty all the time, I have to unload at every customer but its really gravy work.

As a company myself, I can tell you that most of of work is paid by the load. In addition, we occasionally have other odd runs like taking equipment to/from our Massachusetts locations. The pay is generally about $30/hour plus a good benefits package.
As for owner operator compensation, I don't know any of those details but I'm sure a Quantix recruiter will gladly discuss that with you.
BTW, we load our tanks in the South Portland railyard and make deliveries to the Kingfield, Wilton, and Hollis areas.
We currently run Mack day cabs with tri-axel tanks (mostly).

There's a company out there hauling I think water for polar springs local. Can't think of them off the top of my head right now. Sounded decent.

There are numerous companies hauling water for the various Poland Spring Plants here in Maine. I did that when driving for Hartt, which is now part of Bison USA.
