I was just talking to a messer driver that was loading at our plant and he was telling me about those electric trailers. I had never heard of them. Messer is also buying new Volvos with manual transmissions which I thought everyone was going away from.

    Cali kid Thanks this.

Could be a lack of automatics available. But man that will be interesting as more and more newer drivers aren’t even cleared on their license to drive stick.

Which is why I recommend that even though probably only going to be driving auto. Everyone should atleast pass the test in a manual.

Is it normal for cryo to not really have anything around now? Because currently company haven't been able to find me anything. They have contacted Matheson, Air Products and Linde and nothing. I am hoping it's not a normal thing. Otherwise I might need to look for other work

    It is normal..
Not to mention Bidenomics ain't working.
Typically November thru the new year are slow.
Mostly because users have slowed for the holidays.
We are slower than I like too but only because they worked 14 last Thursday and Friday, both holidays for us and filled everyone up. Several guys bringing product back last couple days.
All it will take is a good snowstorm or a refinery going down to get back on track.
Enjoy the slowdown, it won't last

    viper822004 and Rugerfan Thank this.

We only have one electric pump and it's regularly down for maintenance. I can't even get the product to begin flowing if the customer's pressure is above 180. So weak.
On the bright side, it's more quiet so easier on the ears.

It’s super busy here in Texas. We have a lot of carriers coming in these past couple of weeks.

I heard to either haul hazmat or do cryo in Texas. You need specific training?
