The endorsements, other than HazMat, are just computer tests. There are 10 versions of every endorsement tests online free at TruckerCountry.com. just take the practicevtests until you routinely score 90% or better. You don't need to pay someone to read the test questions to you. HazMat is a computer test and giving fingerprints and waiting for a TSA approval. Study on your own.

If you don't know the answer you can skip the question and go on to the next. 80% is needed to pass each endorsement

Isn't the HazMat a written test?

I'm thinking about getting my Tanker and Double/Tripple endorsement after I graduate, the one I really want is the Tanker, so would you say it would be a waste of money to get the Double/Tripple? I only want to get it cause I wanted to look good in the eyes of employers, the more endorsements you have the better right and I heard you need it for LTL and I heard LTL pays good money. I figured the more money I could get the better.

I'd get it it's a easy test you only have to take once. For ltl fedex freight, xpo or old dominion ect. You will need double/triple, tanker and hazmat. Hazmat background check takes a while. Just renewed my hazmat and it took 2 months for the background check to come back.

Just out of curiosity what is the school charging for endorsement training?

Depending what you want it's from $1500-2000 for all of them

Cool, I have no idea what schools charge for them. I won't get my HazMat, at least not now, like you said too many hoops to get it. Is any LTL company that just requires Double/Tripple and Tanker, not HazMat? Do all of them require HazMat?
