I was wondering if most trucks have an AUX plug in the trucks. All I ever listen to is stuff on my I-POD. I know there is the FM Transmitter to plug in the cigarette lighter, but those don't come in clear like the AUX input does.

If only a few companies have this, then which ones does?

My '07 Volvo does NOT have an aux input on the stereo, so I used a cassette converter to input my Satellite radio into the system, instead of going the FM route. The spot for the TV does have a 3.5mm plug, so that you can input the TV audio to the stereo system, but it is a mono plug.

Seriously? You would seriously pick the company you go to work for based on the hook up for your IPOD?

Not rate of pay, not rate of pay advancement, not life insurance, not health insurance, not dental, not disability pay, not vacation pay, or home time allowances. Not a DOT Safety rating, not a 401K, not a retirement plan. But, rather an Ipod hook up?

Lets get something straight here. I never said I'd choose a company based on this issue. Can you find anywhere where it says "I WILL CHOOSE WHAT COMPANY TO DRIVE FOR BASED ON AN IPOD HOOKUP?"

No you can't, can you? I was just asking a simple question.

I guess he has not figured out that he can bring his own radio and ask them to change it too.

I used a cassette adapter for years. Now they went and bought me a new truck. They decided it was time to update to 1980's technology and replace the cassette player with a STUPID CD PLAYER. Is there anyone still out there listening to CDs? Now I'm stuck using the built in FM transmitter in my XM radio and still left wondering how in the heck I'm supposed to listen to the almost hundred hours of audio books I have stashed away on my phone.
