Volvo clutch brake adjustment

    2013 Volvo 780 13 speed. Can the brake be adjusted? It doesnt work, so have to grind it going into gear from a stop.

    Depends. We'd have to see the clutch. Could also be broken ears on the clutch brake

    I'd try to find an independent shop with good reviews. How long have you had this truck? Most likely it has a self adjusting clutch that is worn. It definitely came from the factory with a self adjuster

    Ooh about 6 years. I have 2 dealers and 4 shops at home, I've been using for the past 20 years or so.
    I've had a clutch or 2 replaced over the years. But I've never had a problem with the clutch brake.
