Licenses: What professions require licenses?

I have never had to get a license to operate a boat,...

Of course I have never operated a commercial vessel either,..But than again that's a different animal altogether,...

 

HVAC, Electrical, Pluming, Construction Inspectors, Contractors, these are the people who build our homes and offices.
As oldnewbie has said do we want just anybody building homes or hospitals.

 

No you don't, not here in michigan. In michigan if you are over 18 you dont have to have a boaters safety course certificate. It's only for youngins here. I have no idea if thats the case in your state too or if you're right there...
