I wish. Coolant was starting to eat the bearings, it was feeling a bit rough. Actually was one of the easier water pumps I've done in automotive. Its nice they use o-rings instead of gaskets so I didn't have to try and peel off a hardened gasket from the block with limited access.

    Was that on your f150?
I just had the 2nd turbo in 2 weeks put on on mine. If you ever do a turbo make sure the inline oil filter is clean. Didn't know there was one but....

Thanks a lot. I was going to work on the T800 today, but now I've got to go find a VW body to put on the Deere.

Yep. Mines the 5.0 so no turbos. I had no idea there was an inline filter on those either. Probably cheap compared to new turbos I bet.

I'm not paying the prices they want for new vehicles so I'm driving this one until there's no parts left available to fix it lol.

They seem to be pretty solid trucks. I would have gotten the 3.5 Ecoboost but the current model year at the time was the first year of the 2nd generation 3.5 as well as the first year with the new 10 speed. Ended up with the 5.0 and 6 speed since they had been in production for a few years at that point.

    Hurry up and wait...
Fan hub on the Freightliner is still four days out. Gaskets and y bridge a few days out on the GMC. Blue tractor is what we'll call a diagnostic nightmare. Green Aeromax has an owner that's digesting the news that he's got a cracked head and maybe more. All distractions from what I'd really rather be working on. Hope you're all having a fine Monday.
