Literally all of your options to fight this are going to cost you more in time, trouble, and effort than the $100. Next time, take a minute to call the broker and advise them of what's happening. An ounce of prevention goes a long way, and bad news does not get better with age. Whether or not you got delivered or missed an appointment is irrelevant at this point; you were late, and they're forcing the issue. There may be business factors you're presently unaware of that cost the broker. At any rate, this is, as lessons go, a pretty cheap one.

You agreed to the fees in writing somewhere or they wouldn't be docking the settlement. Either you (like most drivers) didn't read what you signed or you're lying to us. Either way, when they do their little FG smear on you FG will email you with a link to their post. You'll be able to respond and tell your side. Any brokers in the future will be able to read it. Its not a big deal unless you start getting a bunch of complaints. Things must be getting really tight on the spot market if you're fighting so hard for a measly 100 dollars.

Just call time doesn’t matter, they’ll call you at 3am when you’re sleeping. So see how they like it. If they complain tell them it’s trucking.

First, it is $300. Second, RateCont does not have it because I requested they point out the charge. They said the broker asked to change the rate.
