Werner liers,cheats,scam artist

dont forget to snap pictures of your quallcom screen and record all phonecalls....when I left Arrow (before the SHTF) they wanted to hit me with a abandonment but I told them I took the truck where the dispatch told me to. then when he said "ill make sure that ill hit your DAC with something even if I have to lie...I told him that this is being recorded...end of story I left arrow with a clean DAC

 

On a serious note I can Identify with what you are saying. I payed for my own school so after I graduated I put out my feelers seeing what was available. Out of all the companies I talked and applied to they were the worst. This women recruiter had the audacity to start getting strong with me on the phone because I wasnt ready to commit right that second to Werner. I started to laugh and said she could keep her job offer and the new equipment they like to show graduates to get them to work for them didnt pay my bills. I swear most of the people I went to driving scholl signed up with these people, Just because they had nice equipment. LOL. I know of two who were out of a job as of the end of their training. After that recruiters outburst they still called me a week later. I asked them to loose my number.

 

Werner Enterprises in Fontana California is a big joke. They have a 2 day orientation where they treat experienced drivers like newbie drivers and then the drug test and physical. First you go in the room for the drug test and get that done, then step on the scale to get your weight, then go into another room where you read from an eye chart, then they take your blood pressure then your told to stand and touch the light and they sign a 2 year medical card regardless whether your blood pressure is high or not. They also will find a reason to disqualify you to drive for them so they dont have to pay you for orientation pay of 150 dollars nor will they let you have your medical card, only good thing is they will pay your ticket for your bus ride back home.I dont beleive that the physical they do is a qualified dot physical, what i have written here for the physical is exactly the way they do it.

 

Every company I've driven for does that same physical

 

Thats not what is done at the dr's office thats for sure.

 

nope. only time you get any kind of detailed physical with dot is if you list something negative on your medical history

 

Okay, I'm no fan of Werner but that just doesn't make sense. They pay for your transportation there, pay for what appears to be a sub-standard physical, pay for a drug test and, then pay your transportation back home, just so they don't have to pay you for two days orientation?

umm...... it seems like if they "wanted" to disqualify someone, they would do it before they invested any money?

am I missing something here?

Got to agree with jimbo here, its funny the things you read on some of these whinning threads, like, these companys are only in it for the money, wow ya think. then there are the ones that think they were lied to and tell you to lie to the company, very stand up advice there! I would just say to all who read posts like this its not always the outfit, sometimes its the driver! ya hear the funniest stuff here like I cant get a job, why? well I got a DUI, I abandoned a truck, I have 6 hits on my DAC. and now your mad at the world because you have to take a job from a company that wont float in a toilet, oh ya my favorite is the safety ratings, where does the drivers responsiblity come in to play om that one?

 

I work as a O/O leased onto Werner and make great miles,money, and go home when i want, but all i here is whinners crying about how the company is out to get them. Just mabey its you. If it was as bad as these crybabys say it is, i would have been gone years ago.
