To all the drivers at Indian River I wish you a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. My wife and I live on Dundee Rd in Winter Haven and we walk twice a day and pass your terminal. I miss driving after 44 years and have been retired since 2011 and I miss it but it is nice to walk past such a nice terminal.

Merry Christmas to you too. I think I have seen you both on one of your walks.

Happy New Year everyone here at Indian River. I hope that you all have a safe and prosperous 2024 and be careful if celebrating. I am taking my bride of 44 years out for dinner tonight to celebrate our anniversary and stay home for the new year.

Picked up in Lindsay, CA today going to Tempe, AZ and I was looking at my route. I'm thinking about taking 99 down to 58 then taking I-40 until I get to US-95 and take that down to I-10 so I can avoid Los Angeles. Anyone ever tried that before?

I go that way sometimes to avoid the L.A. area, especially if I know I will get there around rush hour.
