Loans are still available...you just have to have stellar credit....in the high 800's......

Another reason why immigrants seem to succeed faster than many "native borns".....is the fact that they don't have the baggage......They already overcame the obstacles to get here....So...the word "Can't" isn't in their vocabulary....

And, at the risk of really sounding prejudiced, not only do i admire all legal immigrants' mentality, i'm also blown away by virtually every immigrant i meet from Africa; They are all either studying for a high level degree or already have one. Not to mention their fairly intense work ethic.

i am an immigrant and so are my parents and we have a nice house i would say, i ve seen worse and yes we had to pay taxes there wasn't an exception for us and there was a lot of #### we had to go though to make sure were here legal and what not, but what got us this far and we were able to accomplish and get what we have is our work ethic and live style. My parents cooked all the time we did all the work around the house our selves and what not just so we can save money so we can have what we have. For example my dad and i work in finish carpenter/ construction business and well all the work we were getting was cause word of mouth. If we told somebody we gonna be there at that time and it will cost that much, that's what was happening, we weren't 2 hours late just cause and came up with prices form the moon and additional cost just to get out of people more cause they had no idea and they were buying the ######## and what not, and the job instead of getting done in few days would take few weeks cause they would start 10 of them just to secure yourself, we never had to do that, i had a lady wait for us to do some work at her house over 2 years( if that was me i would find somebody else) just cause she liked how we worked. I m not trying to say that Americans dont have good work ethic cause i ve seen quite few examples of that but there is a lot that are just simply lazy and rather go on the welfare than work. also you have to make certain amount of money to stay here casue if you don't you re out cause basically gov doesn't want you to go on the welfare at least that how it was in our case
