Red WERNER trucks??????????

Werner has trucks of all colors. They have had for a few years now. Some dedicated may have specific colored trucks but the one I work has a rainbow of colors.

 

Saw 3 of those on 35 in OK yesterday and thought the same thing. Just N of border near one of those Dollar places DC.

 

Werner had to start adding different tractor colors as the used market was getting inundated with the light blue ones years ago. They also run many different makes and models to diverse the fleet even further. I have not though, seen a Volvo Werner truck though, at least not yet. I think more people are apt to buy a used Werner truck if it wasn't an obvious used Werner truck (light blue).
Their dry van trailers are blue and reefers are white. They also do a good bit of Family Dollar work too.

 

ive seen the new Petes, KW's, Freightliners and Internationals, havent seen any Volvos but that doesnt mean they dont exist somewhere in the fleet.... new colors i've seen were black, lght "werner" blue, drk blue, white, tan and red.

 

the 387's are a great truck for maneuvering in tight places and they have the cat C15 engine. they're a good puller and more for running solo since they are pretty basic and not spacious inside like the freightliner's, just make sure u try & get one with an APU. They remind me of the new smaller compact KW T-660, very similar in size/scale.

 

There are a couple Volvos in the fleet, a few of the millon milers have them.

 

Well there ya go. I've not seen them myself, but I suspected they ran at least a few.

 

I have seen a few of them as well. I heard that they bought 2 to 5 volvos to try out.
