The Cryo Hauler Thread

So to clarify, is this a job where you're home daily after working a 10 to 14 hour shift, or is it regional, or over the road for weeks at a time?

 

It’s home daily. But sometimes you’re required to stay at a hotel because the customer might be too far to be able to comeback on the same day.

 

Did a drop and hook yesterday of some hydrogen. I hate drivin at night was tired as hell cuz i woke up early yesterday thought the truck was already gonna be unloaded since the day before it was at 1000psi. Currently in New Jersey and i think my next drop and hook will be on the 2nd since the unloading has been slow. Ive had a not so great experience since i started here, tryin my best to stay positive.

 

Yeah it's compressed, thats what been doin these past days. The actual thing im supposed to be doin is Nitrogen but i never got finished bein trained on it because of trainers havin off time. I'd say in total days of trainin was maybe 6 days and a lot of sittin and those trainin days werent one after another. Since i decided to stay out i was told i could do drop and hooks for the holidays.

 

Hopefully I get to use the trailer next week. Yard I was to drop trailer off at was full. So I just left it and they can move it if needed. I did see a adapter for sample in the back. Was tempted to put it in my truck. But left it.

 

It must be unusually slow.
12 guys signed for premium pay on the 1st and none are working.

Off topic so since i knew that im not gonna get another drop and hook til maybe the 2nd of Jan, i came down here to NY City for New Years Eve and completely wasted my time lmao. I couldnt even seen where the New Years ball goes down. Not even close to the stage, was far away but within timesquare. Last time i probably do this for New Years. I shouldve just went to some bar in NJ.

 

Lol. Yeah, everyone close to the ball has been there since the morning hours.
