I will agree on I-70, however I disagree on I-90 and 94. I would choose 90/94 any day of the week over I-80 in Wyoming. It's dramatically less climbing and uses dramatically less fuel. I've run that route more times than I can count. The company I was leased to before coming to JCT had a dedicated account going from Seattle to Chicago. I ran i so often that I could just about do it in my sleep. As for lack of truck repairs (a commonly used excuse for staying away) there are MORE places up there than there are on I-80 in Wyoming. The ONLY downfall up there is that our trucks aren't up there, so there is a serious shortage of repowers available if something serious DOES go wrong. On a side note, I've had better experiences in North Dakota dealing with people than any other state. I blew a fuel line in the middle of the night in sub-zero temps. A 4-wheeler got my attention to let me know that I sprayed fuel all over him when I blew by him. A state trooper showed up moments after I got stopped and had me sit in his car to keep warm until a road service truck could get there. We had one of my favorite conversations. He asked me how fast I was going when I blew the line. I told him I was doing 75. He told me that his cousin, who was in the car I blew by, was doing 80 when I blew past. I didn't know what to say at that point. He told me to tell him I was doing below triple digits and he'd be happy. Another trip I got pulled over, and the trooper told me to bring it back below triple digits. I have considered moving there. The people and law enforcement rock!

Well do excuse me I am not sure what part of that was snide?I did not mean "you" as in reference to "you" it was a general "you".
I don't know you or how you drive nor do I care. You may be a cool person but I would still not care how you drove.I drive, you drive, we all here drive, and we are all still alive so we must be doing something right.Furthermore if I were actually trying to be "snide" you would know cause it would oooze from your computer screen. So let's just let it go and keep it moving down the road. -
thats a good one bud
