We’ve lost drivers due to failed backgrounds after doing all the interviews and road test. We’ve also missed out on good drivers because of the lengthy hiring process.

Hello and happy new year.
I have being looking for a new gig in trucking. One thing that drives me nuts in my job is that i do not do anything besides driving and watching offloadings. I started my truck life as a Tanker. Although I make good money with my actual job, over 100K easily and it is easy, doing nothing is making my brain soft and bored. Loved when I worked as a tanker and spend time outside, and you get a respect like you are a Navy Seal warrior, lol. Also, the only thing I enjoy in my actual job is that it is most regional driving, like, I do the same route weekly 95%.
So I wonder how hard is to learn to work as a cryo driver, how hard is to learn to offload lox as an exemple. By experience I know that depends on me and time in doing often. My real question is more on mental work than manual work.
Thanks.viper822004 Thanks this. -
