Going round and round in circles today.

 

Uncle Lester bought a 1974 GMC with 10 hole budds, his intention was take the Bucyrus Erie 20W drilling rig off the 1960 International B180 and set it over on the GMC.

Jarred my teeth loose trying to get the lug nuts off that GMC with stud pilot wheels. He had a hardened bar about 6’ long tapered on the end to fit in the holes, I would bounce my weight on the end of that bar trying to break them loose. It would crack and send shivers up my arms….

 

Freezing fog yesteeday from I29 SD border all the way to Rapid City. At least it kept most trucks off the road.

Grabbed a skid steer to go along wirh my RR Timbers and aluminum cylinder bodies. Got my skid steer off in Missoula this mornin, now headed north of Seattle.

And no, i didn't fix any elk damage yet

I was craving a burger and fries for some reason lol, and since I hate McDonalds….

429 is where it's at. I have a 78 F250 with that engine. My motorhome has a 429 Police Interceptor in it. That SOB will carry the mail for sure.

I have another on sitting on an engine stand I want to put in my project car. It a 69 Mercury Montego still sitting in a storage building at Uncle Joe's place.
