The no ot thing is why stores close at 6 on weekends. The reason they retain people for life is excellent working conditions, internal openings to help employees grow, and great bennies. The opposite of Walmart where it's just misery and money.
Anyone drive for Costco here ?

Going to road at FXF likely won't get you any job security either, gotta either stick it out or find a place that doesn't overhire.speedyk Thanks this. -
Yup, Flag FxF is often hiring. If i were going road I'd hire in Holbrook, those guys run to ABQ or Havasu IIRC. Housing is cheaper there as well, but the ups and downs are likely the same. For me it would be better to not run 17 all the time like the Flag guys do.
But, rumor is FxF is going to build a new barn out on Leupp Road and bring the Holbrook stuff there. That was before covid... -

runs. One to Albuquerque and 1 to Lake Havasu. I’ve done them both out of our yard in Flag. The Havasu one is nice cuz it’s about a 10 hour run which is nice, you feel almost like you still have a life. They our going to combine those 2 yards now and run them out of Winona. They have been saying that for years now so eventually it will happen. I was on the extra board when I was doing road in Flag and sometimes I had to run that Phoenix shuttle and go down and work the dock 2 to 3 hours. I couldn’t stand it lol. The Phoenix dock is way to small for
The amount of fork lifts on their and the volume coming out of that yard. Wish the city paid like the road did cuz the schedule sure is nice ha.speedyk Thanks this. -
So did you get the job at Costco?

3.5 year old thread, not sure what you are hoping for here...

Idk anything about working as a driver for costco, but I love delivering to their dc's. They treat outside carriers with dignity and respect and they get a full truckload unoaded in 30 mins on a good day and 45 minutes on a bad day. That doesn't answer anybody's questions about driving for costco, but at least they have a friendly and efficient workplace
McUzi Thanks this.
