Yeah, when I got a copy from my driving school a couple of years ago, my MVR printout showed a ticket I got in '99.

The printout actually said it was a five-year record (I guess because that's what the driving school had requested), but the ticket was still on there. This was in Pennsylvania. YMMV, but I wouldn't bet on anything disappearing from your record. Best to be forthcoming about everything, when asked.

When I was checking into schnider last year the guy told me I had to have had my licence for at least the last 3 years..
I'm sure any OLD stuff older than 5 years won't matter, heck the last ticket I got was back in 1998...

What happened was I just simply moved to an area where there was a ton of busses, skipped paying all my tickets and waited for the statue of limmitations to run out which it ran out in april of 2007. Novemember of 2007 I obtained my drivers licence and have been driving my car legaly ever since.

WOW, just wow you have given me so much usefull information and I thank you for it. I may have to work for a ####y company like cr england to get my foot in the door but I'll tough it out.

One thing I thought about doing is getting my HAZmat endorcement BEFORE getting my CDL , I could check and see if I can get it on my class C licence ( oregon ) Who knows but its worth a try.

My feloniex2 was for recieveing stolen property, both times it barley hit the felony mark. Stupid as it was to do it, it was even stupider to not try to plea it to a misdomeaner. Anyways thats all past and I have to look forward to the future.

I can't afford trucking school so I gotta get with one of these crapy companies that trains. I looked into watkins and shepard but their training program is closed due to lack of trainers.

I checked swift and they said no felony. I checked schnider, same thing plus their school is closed at this time. A few other companies I checked also said no felonies. CR england is the only company that trains and hires people with a felonie.

TRUST me, Ive read so many reviews + talked to my uncle who returned his truck many years ago with a giant turd on the seat. He hates them worse than driving for FUNTASTIC carnival.

Its funny though 16 years ago the judge said he hoped I learned my lesson. I did, I've not done one criminal act for the last 16 years. The only lesson I really am lerning now is theres very little chance of 2nd chances and ones actions as a young adult will forever punish them no matter how much change or growing up they have had.

You really need to check the TSA website for hazmat to make sure your felonies are not disqualifiers before you waste your time getting it.

I alredy did that, my theft by recieving and other various things I had have all expired thus I am totaly in the clear for a hazmat licence..

I also can get a security clearence for working at the airport, not sure how that ties in an army or navy base but my WORST charge is recieving stolen property...

Hey guys names Lee, had some tickets for speeding back in 2005 and 2006. Fought em in Court, now they are posting as not being paid until 2007. I have had my lisensce since may of 2006, I caught a DUS in September of 2007, in GA. They dropped the charges, now the state is showing a record of a conviction when I was found innocent. The State of SC, says since I had an SC lisensce that just because I was charged they are going to hold a conviction instead. I have no felonies or misdemeanors, and have a passport, and have haz mat. I still cannot find a job, and I just graduated from CDL school and no one, I mean no one will give me a shot. All of my stuff is over three years old, the points no longer count, and all I have is a bogus 2 pt charge on my lisensce. Fellas I need HELP I tell you these people act like I killed someone. If you can help please let me know. I just want to use what I have spent the 3800.00 to get, hell I even waited 4 years until the points fell off. Now I am still not any closer than I was. I have hired a lawyer to try and straighten things out, but the unemployment is running out fast.

Don't lie about anything and look to the smaller companies. A lot of smaller companies pay better anyway because you will be expected to do more. IE: fix minor problems on the truck. I had my license suspended for 2 years for insurance, 2 months after I had it back I got a CDL and went to work. No problem.
