I've been wondering about you guys and the weather. I retired about a month ago and have been enjoying not having to worry about stuff like that.

Yeah looks gnarly for us for sure MIT. Judging from last winter i'm sure they will kick out a Millis wide shelter in place if you're in a certain area at a certain time. Like they did to you all last winter. I'll be driving my happy butt out of JVille, to Jefferson and then we'll see... looks like one of those 45mph days. Watch for the sheep bunching up and brake checking one another, maybe 35'ish...
Still undecided and dwells40 Thank this. -
Also congratulations on retirement!!dwells40 Thanks this.

Richfield was my home terminal but I never had to wait there. I live by Chicago and they've been predicting about a foot of snow and wind gusts to 50 MPH starting Friday for a few days now. I think it's going to be nasty.MIT Thanks this.

So far I've mostly missed the winter stuff. On my way to NJ this week I ran into the aftermath of snow on I68 but the temperature was above freezing with lots of raon but the roads were fine. Overhead some talk on the CB talking about a lot of trucks stuck at the Pilot on I68 on Grantsville, MD to the point where you couldn't even get in there to fuel.
So I continue on to Sayreville with it raining the entire way. I think the temperature was 51 when I got there and there was lots of crazy wind and rain after I was parked.
I was pretty amazed that the rain did not stop even for a minute anywhere on my way from Waterford, OH to Sayreville, NJ. If it had been the same amount of snow I think they'd still be digging us out.Still undecided, dwells40 and Old_n_gray Thank this. -
Still here in Richfield. They tried getting me out. Picked up a load at the brewery. 2320lbs over on the tandems. Was told to go back to brewery today and get it reworked. Went back and no one was in shipping because of MLK day. Got to go back in the morning.
