Red just did not read the post that's all. Once he learn that taking 15 minutes and back up is an bathroom break he'll be aulright.

Now the recruiter s2b, he's a different story. Bitter if u ask me!!:biggrin_25516:
He need to ask some day cabbers how it feel. I guess he thinks us day cabers run 200 miles a day. Reality is not his friend.:smt067:smt079

It was 04' and I had a Columbia when it was brand new. Cant believe how time has flown by and now they're considered junk around there!

Daycabbing feels good sitting at home today after a long day with a beer in hand and the lil' asian woman fixing me dinner.

A six year old truck is only junk when it was abused by steering wheel holders. I know an O/O with an 03 Columbia with about 1.1 million miles that drives like a new truck and has a mint exterior/interior.

It just like with cars, you go down to the city and see 2 year old cars already all banged up and held togather with bungee cords and duct tape while on the other hand you see cars from the early 90's in mint shape.

I've been driving long enough to know that O/O, but if it's a W/S truck of that age.. it's going to be abused!!! A lot of newbs get out of trucking as fast as they got into it. By now I'm sure the poor red thing has seen it's share of 1 month wonders grinding the piss out of those gears.

In the early 2k W/S decided to hang onto it's 99'-00' Volvos for a few years without upgrading due to all the engine changes/economic savings. Around 05' they're all hanging on by a thread with some over a million miles. One thing though, if you were to pick it up from Missoula it'd look like new on the inside from whomever was cleaning them. Picking it up from a different terminal? Good Luck! I remember the time I found 19 pee bottles in a truck I had to transfer.
