If anyone ever goes to Corning Glass in Corning, NY, the plant by the glass museum....Messer Tanks....4x15K LOX tanks manifolded together, all running somewhere between 40-60 psi... be forewarned, the top and bottom labels on the valves are switched. I know be one snowy February night I hooked up, purged, started pumping and watching the pressure come down, so I cranked the bottom fills all the way and turned off the top fills, watching pressure drop even more...Huge pressure builders on site started frosting up. Down to 25 PSI on the tanks, dawned on me valves were mislabeled, ran around like a madman switching running 8 valves from down to up. I got lucky and never shut down the line, but those pressure builders were screaming for dear life.

Sounds like two good reasons to reject that location as unsafe.

Yes once I move up from food grade tanker to Chemical, and my first day out with a trainer, good guy, but you know some trainers are there for the training money and the daily load money, so they work fast to get back fast home. This day on the first and last delivery everything went wrong, spills, seal leaking, pressure build up and how to release the lines pressure, etc, I am watching the trainer fixing everything. Once we finish the day he tells me "man what a bad day everything went wrong" and I told him " I learned more today than any other day."

So before doing that. I was to grab a trailer from someone in Pennsylvania to bring to New Jersey. So I meet up with them to grab the trailer. Turns out the guy was told this placarded container trailer with something in it. Was "empty". So waiting on dispatch to figure it out. That driver shouldn't of moved this trailer at all. I'm not until I got bol for it.

Good point, I knew not to shift with manual, but didn't think about this.

After I drop this off tomorrow. I'm grabbing one of our trailers in Arkansas to do work in Wisconsin. But unsure if I will make it there soon. Because my 70 is currently around 30h
