    I asked the recruiter and he confirmed that they were bought by cypress last year. he referred to them as their "sister company." maybe it makes them feel better to think that their owner is actually their sister. LOL

    I wouldn't say Florida Rock is going downhill, maybe patriot holdings just decided that keeping a flatbed company afloat wasn't the best thing to do right now. I think the combination of Cypress and Sunbelt is actually probably a good thing, they have a lot of the Florida flatbed freight tied up right now so kudos to them.
