    "lol" indeed.
Yet here you are expressing your opinion(s) based on what? Certainly not experience, just assumptions.
Define "whining". Seems like that's what you might be doing and I agree, "it ain't really constructive".
    Really?
That is of course your opinion, -- based on what reason? Personal experience? Apparently not. You don't go there and TTR doesn't force anyone to log-in there. Strictly a personal choice to do so, -- and comes with a heads up advisory as to what to expect. The password is thickskin for good reason. When those who lack the ability to comprehend the advisory meet reality, they're shocked.
Fortunately, TTR doesn't force them to remain there or contribute. They're free to roam about the other forums, of which there are many extremely informative forums to choose from. None better than TTR in that regard, -- which is my personal opinion based on years of experience here and other trucking related websites.

That being said, --- in your "estimation" TTR wouldn't be losing much if they got rid of the Politics Forum. That's your opinion and I respect that opinion although I don't agree, I accept your right to have that opinion. But to be fair, would you accept an estimation that this, or any other Big truck truckin' related website, wouldn't be losing much if they got rid of you?
(For the record, -- that's a question, not a recommendation. Call it food for thought.)

And I wonder why something that in no way harms you, is something you'd prefer to be eliminated? Perhaps I don't completely understand, and if so, would you be so kind as to enlighten me as to why that isn't being selfish and self-centered, and judgemental? Not to bring politics into this conversation, but just an example of what a dictator/dictatorship is and does.

In my personal opinion, based on open minded experience, -- those who form and base opinion(s) without considering any facts or the desires of those who harmlessly enjoy what you don't appreciate, and can easily avoid if so desired, affects credibility concerning all things unrelated as well. And tarnishes one's reputation and even trust for those who act first and think about it later, -- if at all. How wise is that?

    :laughing1::laughing3::laughing1:. :laughing-guffaw:
    By Golly REO!
"A member" hit the nail right on the head.
    ThanX!
    For postin' it. :salute:
I needed, :read2: and appreciate that.

    Seriously!
    That was Funny. :biggrin_25523:

    And accurate.
The "A member" who told you that, -- I'd like to click Thanks.
    Oh Really?
Apparently he visited on a good day. It's a good thing he chose to vacate rather than to stick around long enough to ask a second question. :violent2:. :violent3:
    Really?! :confused4:
    Oh Gosh!
    :homework:
I'm really totally crushed to hear that in writing.
My confidence just took a major decline. :happy8:

Any chance I could persuade you to continue readin' 'till the end? And re-evaluate my originality thereupon?
I know you're busy doin' a great job herein, so I'd understand if you reject my request entirely, -- as what I write what I wrote, -- very often tends to be rather lengthy. Not to mention my tendency to digress. I'm still workin' on that though. Progress is slow

Some folks read a bit, then hit pause, and go do somethin' else for a while and return at their leisure. No rule that mandates it's all gotta be read all in one sittin'. Or whatever position y'all prefer when readin'. Long as you're comfortable, that's what matters. :headbang:
    Me?
    I don't read what I just wrote.
    Makes no sense. :biggrin_25512:
Besides, I have better things to do, ----- sometimes.
    :pottytrain5: Just sayin'.
    "Always"? :pale:
    "Same old arguments"? :evil3:
Wellll, to a certain degree that's accurate. Now, if you opine that those involved in an argument seem to be conducted in the same ol' way, --- over and over, --- I'd tend to agree.
    "Scripted and repetitive"?
    Hmmmmmmm -----
That's something I haven't noticed to be widespread but something to consider checkin' out. Which I plan to do. Not that I could change that.
We all write our own scripts, but I prefer to ad-lib.
    ThanX for the heads-up.

See, --- in my opinion in any given matter, all that really matters is truth. Nuthin' else really matters. Ergo, that's what I seek.

Something to consider is this factoid, ----------------------------> Herein we're all just hieroglyphics on a contrasting background. And as such, incapable of inflicting physical harm. Nuthin' to fear here in that regard. Any fear would be preconceived, -- born in the imagination void of experience and/or an open mind.

On the other hand, if the intent is to create trouble, it's likely y'all ain't gonna be disappointed.

    WoaH!
    Ya had me fooled M T :thumbleft::thumbright:
    But "Clean it up"?
To send it to Dirty Politics?!
    Why bother doin' that? :tongueSTARS2:
    Just a wastea time. :clock:
    Ya reckon.

    Now, --- was that original?
    Or the same-ol', same-ol'?
    Wash
    Rinse
    and
    Repeat?

    HellO?

    dirthaller Thanks this.

Who are you? You're profile says road train member so you're a regular here, clearly. You must spend all your TTR time there. I apologize if I've overlooked you. Anyway so the last time anyone posted on this thread was almost 2 years ago......so you revived this just to be slightly controversial. Had to go back and glance at a few posts to jog my memory some. For your information, I have been on that forum. The politics forum has been around for some years, and I've been a member for some years. I didn't create that opinion just because. I have spent time on there and I didn't like it. I already knew what the password is, and FYI, my skin is very thick. If that forum was about having a conversation and sharing different ideas and perspectives, I'd be all over it. That's not what I experienced over there, and what I experienced, I didn't like it. There are members who are regulars on that forum, and I actual like them, but some of their personalities are completely different there than in the general forum. I stay away from there also because I don't want my opinion to change on some of those members that I like. In my time spent there, it's not going to be a conversation unless you're thinking matches what the regulars have, and I don't always feel like getting in online shouting matches. If you have a differing opinion, prepare to get the worst out of every member. I am assuming that either you're thinking is aligned with most of the folks there, or you like to argue alot lol. If that's what suits you, fine. I have my opinion. You don't have to agree or like it. You like the politics forum, and that's fine too. Just because I don't hang out there anymore, doesn't mean I don't have an opinion. Been there, done that. Not my vibe.

You forgot, dude’s name is based on what everyone in a 10 mile radius feels while he’s waddling around to the nearest McDonalds, aftershocks

    WoW!
    That was a quick reply.
    Much appreciated, ThanX.

I noticed quite a few assumptions contained within your reply though, -- which causes me to wonder if you'd be inclined to read explanations that would set the record straight. If so, I'd consider it a privilege to do so.

I'm going out on a limb here assuming you'll agree that this isn't the proper place to carry on a conversation of explanations, so my hope is that you'll accept my invitation to shoot me a PM.

Sure I'm open to dialogue. Don't make a difference to me whether it's private or public. Feel free to message me if you want to go private. I'm open to hearing you set the record straight.

Nope...Just my observation/opinion based on reviving an almost 2-year-old thread just to start raging at people.

Well.....I think that points to something deeper than political affiliation, and it has something to with those who think they rule social media. You ever look certain members' posts and you get the feeling that they spend a lot of time on tick tock, X, Facebook and the works?
