S-Dime driver to TxDOT: “You MF’rs Missed A Spot!!!”

Tall Mike Thanks this. -
You would think they would’ve learned their lesson from the last ice storm and gotten some decent more efficient snow and ice removal equipment.
In the Midwest and Northeast they lay out so much rock salt that it’s like they’re laying out cocaine!!lolJoeyJunk, buddyd157, bzinger and 1 other person Thank this. -
Txdot has the equipment…up in the panhandle..lol.JoeyJunk, bzinger, Tall Mike and 1 other person Thank this.

A lot of good it’s doing there.

Plenty in New Mexico though, but it all “evaporated” west of Tucumcari!! LOLJoeyJunk, drvrtech77, Tall Mike and 1 other person Thank this. -
I was down there delivering in the Eastern end of Houston. I had a pickup at Waller, so I went from Houston near Market and 610 to Waller with an empty trailer. (I did the same thing last week... from David City to Omaha, then to Aurora, NE with an empty during that storm/blizzard) Wasn't that bad until about 4 miles West of 610 on 290.... then it sucked out loud. ALL of the bridges were iced over. And of course all of the no-driving-ability Texans would slam on the brakes as soon as they hit ice. After I picked up, I went up TX6 and looped around back to I-45 and called it a day at Fairfield. Those fools down in TX seem to have made bending sheet metal a hobby. I would rather drive in LA than any large city in TX.Last edited: Jan 17, 2024
