Maybe an owner operator with a pre 2000 truck. Doubt you’re going to find a company running 25+ year old trucks and paper logs, good luck

You’re going to have to beat the bushes in your area. There should still be a local fuel stop in your area. Your local industrial parks will have them. The trailers will not have a company name on the back. Probably an old Schneider or Weiner trailer with the mega name painted off. There are actually many of these companies and while some are 1099 garbage, others will will be W2 with benefits AND a decent running truck, 100% drop and hook and 100% contract freight.

Ah, paper logs, by gar, that takes me back,,
, good luck, with all of todays regulations, I can't believe something that is almost 100 years old, would still be accepted as an accurate account of the drivers hours.
, My 1st boss, when I said, "how am I supposed to log all this"? His reply, "you can get it real close with a pencil",,,that was the 70s, and we've moved on from such foolishness. I've had many jobs, quit driving just as OBRs became popular. I only drove for 1 company that had them, my union bread job, and I actually liked them. I had set runs, and saved a lot of time, but I couldn't imagine running OTR with one. I just read this, as of this year, trucks after 2000, but you'll see, drivers trying to elude that will buy older trucks and will probably be revised that all must have OBRs and just a matter of time.

I know 3-4 years ago..Bennett leases on older trucks with no e-log requirements. But, I think you had to have a forward facing camera.
