Let me give you some advice.

IF it sounds to good to be true, than it is not true.

IF you fail to check out your new employer, not just ask for a job, then you accept responsibility for the situation your are now in.

IF you think there are plenty of trucking jobs available to you, then you are not in tune with President Obama's management of this countries decline.

Ive,ran into the same problem with a carrier up in chicago_Owes me $1300.While I worked for him I made copies of bills, reciepts. And when I contacted the federal dept of labor for the state,I made coppies of my log book. They contacted the owner,he's telling lies;I have proof;that i worked for him.The labor dept stated by law"They can get me the money(only going by my hours worked, payed at $7.25 per hour).Which comes to less that 1/2 the pay owed to me.So it look's like im going to file in small claims court against him. With all my expenses that occured in going to work for this habitual lier.
Ive been in a law suit before, but that was with a lawyer. This time Im on my own.
This man said there was no communication, the day I left to go home.I pulled up my phone records up on the internet;for that day.Total of 8 calls. He said I crashed the truck,Im glad I took pic's with my cell phone,I transfered the pic's to my album,so they can be printed now.
Isnt techknowlegy great? when it helps the driver?

Though the "i" and the "e" were switched around, you almost nailed it with the silent "p".

I've never seen "technology" butchered that bad.

    It's Friday and I'm bored......

I along with many others, also got ripped off by keith howell and his ex-wife syepeny (bay city logistics) from wesley chapel florida. If you question him about these complaints, he does a real good job of convincing you, that everybody owes him money, don't fall for anything he says-it's all lies. Unless you want to lose several thousand dollars, stay away from these low-life's . Also, you can take them to court, but all you'll get is a judgement against them, but no money. All owner operators that became victims to this scam, should file an on-line complaint with the federal trade commision. You can also contact news reporter and investigator susan taylor martin at or call her at the st. Pete times (727) 893-8642. Hopefully, we can prevent others from becoming victims.

Those folks at Baycity are the worst They owe folks and won't pay not only the driving miles I mean for fuel as well. Tell everyone they are not what this industry needs now or ever taking advantage of working folks! unbelievable!

Heres how you get the money that the judge awarded you.
When you hire on with someone and you DO get a paycheck make a copy of it! That way you have the routing numbers and the account number! Then when you win after 45 days in court and you haven't been paid then take the numbers to the clerk of the court and they will garnish the money right out of the checking account!

Now in your case see if you can find someone there that just might be getting paid and ask them if they would give you the routing and account numbers or bribe someone to try to get that information for you if you have to!

If you have that information and you do the civil case in court and win you have everything you need as long as you have copies of every BOL you touched along with copies of every piece of paper that passed through the truck! This is advice for everyone out there as it's getting to be a fight for everyone to get their pay these days!

i.e. i live in Fl. i take my judgement to the clerk, but my travel agent lives in Mo, lets say.

    TIA.(thanks in advance)
