Celadon Trucking Service, Inc. - Indianapolis, In.?

I'll have to say, honestly, I've never heard the first bad thing from Celadon.

I'd like to know where you found these horror stories about them, as I'm considering going to work for them as well.

 

Sorry for confusing this issue. I did not mean that I've heard a lot of horror stories re Celadon. I was just commenting that this forum is full of horror stories. Good luck.

 

I'm surprised LogsRus hasn't chimed in on this thread yet...unless I'm wrong in my assumption of which company based out of Indianapolis she's a log dog for.

However, I knew several of their drivers years back who were pretty happy with 'em. Good equipment, good miles, good pay. I had considered them at one time a few years ago, but didn't like the fact that they run as much as they do in Canada. I'd rather see an American company stay in America. I also remember hearing that they would be amoung the first of American companies to hire Mexican drivers if they can ever get that whole issue off the ground (which I hope they don't).

 

I am curently with Celadon. I think they treat there drivers fairly. I've not had a problem with miles, hometime or payroll. Those are my pet peeves with a company.

need 2 know about celadon trucking out of tulsa oklahoma,are they a good company to work for,or i might be in the wrong thread,if so please 4give me.

 

If you click on search and type in the company name all the threads and posts should come up about that company

 

i have an "old friend" that works there. he's been with them about 5 years now, and he never has/had anything bad to say about them.

 

we had someone from the greensboro nc terminal come and talk to our class. sounded like a decent outfit with a nice vacation/pay incentive program. i'm sure you can find lots of info on their website.

 

Celadon is based out of Indianapolis, Ind. (I am from that area) I have checked them out and they dont have anything based out of Oklahoma? It would be based out of Indianapolis, IN. and I hear allot of them on the Local Business man on Sunday (I can't remember his name). Good luck!
