snow covered grades

    7% grades or so,3/4 mile,snow covered.My 5th gear ranges 15-20mph. Think 4th is to low? it"s 10-15. Im talking loaded?35,000lbs. 6wheeler

    When in doubt slower is ALWAYS better. Also watch yourself you don't know what is under that snow. Assume that there is Ice hiding under the snow.

    Well no one wants to see you have a accident I saw about 35 to 40 mph is good as long as it is not real slick. Have to becareful about going too slow up hill as to avoid spinning out. Once on top of hill you can take it slow if you are uncomfortable.
