Yeah not the right forum for that. I stay out of that one. I got a lot more years to go unfortunately. How ever the way things are going I begin to wonder if its better to learn how to say welcome to Walmart. Please come back. Ah that’ll be replaced by a robot soon.

Maybe but it just needs to hold together for 10 more years and ill be close enough i can pull the ripcord if it comes down to that. Besides my debt will be all 0 by the end of next year barring anything stupid. And by 2028 or 29 i should have the funds to just buy my house in cash. Everything past those two goal posts are strech goalshope not dumb twucker Thanks this.

I just drove through the section where 380 meets 80 and going west on 80 for about 100 miles. I counted over 300 4 wheelers in the ditch and 83 tractor trailers. One right after another through that entire stretch. When I was driving through it, you could still see water coming up so the roads weren’t quite frozen at that time. However, about 30 miles into this hundred miles stretch they begin to freeze up. The water spray was disappearing. Going up a hill with a little torque My tires begin to spin. It was obvious the road had iced up. Started seeing more and more vehicles going into the ditch. I slowed my speed down to between 35 and 40 mph as did most of the other drivers. Kept lots of spacing….But not all of them. Sure enough we had a few truckers fly by us doing 75+ miles per hour. One of them about 5 miles up the road we saw jackknifed and turned upside down like a dead ####roach in the medium. I drove about another 20 miles to an open truckstop and shut it down for the night. Roads were nice and dry and well salted the next morning.
drvrtech77 and mjd4277 Thank this. -
Operator error. Wasn't the subies fault. She was hoon'in like she was supposed to.
They needed the STI, front/back lsd's and brembos for when you overcompensate.
WRX is only 280'ish unless tuned. Plenty of domestics have more hp than that they just don't put the rubber down low like that boxers center of gravity. -
Subaru discontinued the STi. Like most manufacturers they’re catering more to yuppies/mainstream customers and are transitioning to electric vehicles!2Tap Thanks this.

Had a 2019 and sadly got rid of it as no one else in family could be taught to drive a manual. Probably a good thing, 'vette owners always surprised getting spanked light to light in city

I pray for an electric rally car. Too much fun! -
I miss my vette lol. Never really raced it but they have the most wonderful sound. That and those big oversized rear tires are supriseingly grippy on dirt and snow if you get the right style....always wanted to get another and baja buggy it.
As for subarus. Ive never really driven one. They are REALLY uncomfrotable for someone over 6 foot and with 18EE feet and both times ive tried them out they felt like getting into a sarden can.ihaveaquestion Thanks this. -
The WRX ended up being about half the car it used to be!!
ihaveaquestion Thanks this. -
